Data Sources and Terms

• No live market data. SeekhKar does not publish share prices, ratios or valuations for listed companies. Take prices from your broker and figures from each company's published reports.
• Lessons use worked examples with round, made-up numbers, or figures clearly labelled with the date they refer to.
• Calculators work only with the figures you enter. Their formulas and defaults are on the Methodology page.
• Sector guides use SeekhKar's editorial reference ranges and valuation assumptions, not market figures.
• Archived case studies on the blog show company figures as reported around mid-2026. They are dated and not updated.

The PSX data portal (dps.psx.com.pk) carries a legal notice against redistributing or commercially using its market data without a licence. SeekhKar therefore does not republish data scraped from the portal. If SeekhKar ever publishes market data, it will come only from a source whose terms allow it, and that source will be named on this page.

Tax calculators use slab tables transcribed from the law. Each table is versioned by fiscal year:

• Sector benchmark ranges and calculator defaults are SeekhKar editorial assumptions, listed on the Methodology page.
• Blog articles reflect information available on their publication date and are not updated automatically.

• SeekhKar is for education and information only. Nothing on it is investment, tax or legal advice, or a recommendation to buy or sell any security.
• Figures may contain errors or be out of date despite the checks above. Verify important numbers with the original source before acting on them.
• Third-party data remains subject to its provider's terms. Do not redistribute it from SeekhKar.
