Take Home Pay Calculator Pakistan

Find your exact net monthly salary after all deductions — income tax and provident fund.

Tax year

Formula

Net annual pay = Gross annual − Income tax − Provident fund Income tax = from the FY 2026-27 (Tax Year 2027) slabs (see Income Tax Calculator) Provident fund = Gross × 45% (assumed basic) × 10% (salaried only) Monthly take home = Net annual pay ÷ 12

Worked Example

Gross annual salary Rs. 1,200,000. Income tax (salaried, FY 2026-27 (Tax Year 2027)): Rs. 6,000. Provident fund: Rs. 54,000. Net annual pay = Rs. 1,200,000 − Rs. 6,000 − Rs. 54,000 = Rs. 1,140,000, or Rs. 95,000 a month.

How to Interpret the Result

For Pakistani salaried employees, the largest deductions are typically income tax and provident fund. PF contributions are effectively forced savings since they are often matched by employers and paid out at retirement or resignation. Your take-home percentage (net/gross) should be 75-85% for most salaried individuals.

Common Mistakes

1) Confusing gross salary with take-home pay when budgeting. 2) Not accounting for PF deductions. 3) Assuming the offer letter's gross salary is what hits your bank account. 4) Forgetting that non-salaried individuals don't have PF deductions. 5) Not negotiating allowances that may have different tax treatment.
